These Terms govern your access to and use of the Packplexity mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Packplexity is operated by Badgeplex, an Ontario, Canada sole proprietorship (“Packplexity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
Packplexity provides personal and collaborative packing lists, assignments, comments, reminders, AI-assisted list generation, subscriptions, and integrations with supported mobile-platform features. Features may vary by device, operating system, subscription, or region. We may improve, change, or discontinue features over time.
You must provide accurate account information and protect access to your account. If you have not reached the age required to enter a contract where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms for you. You must not impersonate another person, access another account without permission, or use the Service unlawfully.
Some lists remain only on your device. Shared lists are synchronized through our cloud services. People invited to a shared list may view and modify its contents, assignments, completion state, participants, messages, and activity according to available permissions. The list owner chooses whom to invite and remains responsible for managing access.
You retain ownership of list names, items, messages, profile details, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You must not submit unlawful, abusive, malicious, or infringing content.
AI-generated lists and suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing all results and deciding what you need. Do not rely on Packplexity for medical, safety, emergency, legal, medication, border-entry, or other critical requirements.
An AI generation generally uses one credit when a list is successfully generated. Failed generations are returned automatically where our systems detect the failure. Free accounts currently include three lifetime AI generations. Eligible monthly subscriptions currently include 10 per monthly term and annual subscriptions include 120 per annual term. Additional consumable bundles currently include 25 AI generations. Current quantities and prices are always shown before purchase and may change for future purchases.
Included subscription credits reset at renewal and do not roll over. Separately purchased credits do not currently expire. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be suspended where use is automated, abusive, fraudulent, or designed to circumvent limits.
Packplexity may offer auto-renewable monthly and annual subscriptions. Only the owner of a shared list needs an eligible subscription to enable that list’s sharing features. Price, billing period, and included features appear in the app before confirmation. No free subscription trial is currently offered.
Purchases made in the iOS app are billed and administered by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account at least as required by Apple. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Apple handles payment processing and refund requests. Deleting Packplexity does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Local personal-list features may be available without payment, while cloud sharing and other features may require a subscription. We may change free and paid features prospectively, subject to applicable law and platform requirements. We will not charge you for a purchase you did not authorize.
These features are conveniences and are not guaranteed to update or arrive at a particular time or place. Delivery depends on permissions, system behaviour, network access, app state, and third-party services. Do not rely on them for emergencies, health or safety requirements, or legal deadlines.
If you choose a location reminder, Packplexity requests device location permission for that feature. Permissions can be changed in device settings. Location reminders are not guaranteed to trigger and must not be used for safety-critical purposes.
You may not unlawfully access or disrupt the Service; introduce malicious code; harass users; distribute unlawful content; reverse engineer except where law permits; abuse invitations, messages, AI generation, or purchases; or circumvent security, usage, or subscription controls. We may restrict or terminate abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, or materially harmful use.
Except for user content, the Service, software, branding, design, interfaces, templates, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Badgeplex and protected by law. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
The Service relies on providers including Apple, Google/Firebase, Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, and Formspree. Your direct interaction with those providers may also be governed by their terms. Mobile-app licensing may additionally be subject to Apple’s applicable standard end-user licence terms.
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted by maintenance, software updates, outages, network conditions, or third-party failures. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or conditions except those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not warrant that Packplexity will prevent forgotten items or produce complete or error-free suggestions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Badgeplex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Service, including forgotten items, inaccurate content, missed notifications, collaboration activity, lost data, or interrupted access. Nothing limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
You can delete an account in Packplexity Settings or submit our account deletion form. Deletion permanently removes lists you own and removes your membership and participant profile from lists owned by others. Contributions that form part of another owner’s collaborative history may remain without an active account profile where reasonably necessary to preserve that shared record. Certain transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained as required.
Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. We may suspend access to address fraud, abuse, security risk, legal obligations, or material violations of these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or request consent where required before a material change takes effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory consumer rights available where you live.
